ABOUT
Jacuzzi Weekly is a quarterly publication dedicated to the culture surrounding contemporary art.
Inside these pages you'll find essays, satire, interviews, artwork, observations, and the creative input of artists, writers, and friends spread across different cities and various countries. We aren't interested in explaining what art means nearly as much as we're interested in documenting what it feels like to live inside it.
There are plenty of publications that cover exhibitions, markets, criticism, and theory. Jacuzzi Weekly exists somewhere adjacent to all of that. We're interested in the conversations that happen after the opening reception, when the gallery lights are off and everyone ends up at the neighborhood bar. The conversations about the show that just opened, the one that didn't sell, the grant that got rejected, the collector who said something strange, the museum gift shop, the installation that almost collapsed, and the overwhelming relief of finally getting that invoice filled.
We believe those conversations are part of contemporary art culture too. Lets talk about it.
